As a result of Russian air strikes on December 8 in the Kherson, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia regions, 2 people were killed and 23 others were injured

Details: It is noted that two people were killed and five wounded in the Kherson region during the day from Russian strikes.

Dozens of settlements were under drone attacks, airstrikes and artillery fire, including Beryslav, Antonivka, Kizomys, Komysany, Zmiivka, Kozatske, Mykilske, Osokorivka, Stanislav, Shiroka Balka and the city of Kherson.

The Russians attacked residential buildings, critical and social infrastructure. The invaders damaged 3 high-rise buildings and 8 private homes, a farm, a cellular tower, a water tower, a gas pipeline and private cars.

In Sumy Oblast, the Russian army struck 105 strikes on 33 settlements in a day. Two civilians were injured – a 40-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman.

In the Sumy community, the occupiers used FPV drones and attack UAVs to damage a critical infrastructure object, a private house, two store windows, a non-residential premises, a car and a power line.

In Rychkivska hromada, enemy drones hit two private houses and a warehouse. On the ground, investigative and operative groups of the police and explosives experts documented the consequences of the shelling and removed explosive objects.

Also, 16 people were injured in the Zaporizhzhia region as a result of Russian attacks. In total, during the day, the occupiers struck 642 strikes on 26 settlements.

The Russian army carried out 13 airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia, Vilniansk and a number of communities on the front line.

Another 407 drones of various types, mainly FPV, attacked Zaporizhzhia and surrounding villages, as well as front-line settlements – from Gulyaipol to Malaya Tokmachka. In addition, 4 shelling from multiple rocket-propelled grenades and 218 artillery strikes on villages and towns of the region were recorded.

The police received about 130 reports of damage to homes, cars and infrastructure.
