De Minaur defeated Fritz in the Final and keeps his chances for the semi-finals

Australian tennis player Alex de Minaur in the third round of Jimmy Connors’ group, he did everything he could to qualify for the semi-finals of the ATP-2025 Final Tournament.

Alex defeated Taylor Fritz in straight sets in 1 hour and 35 minutes – the Aussie only needed to win in two games to keep his play-off chances alive.

The rivals held their 11th face-to-face confrontation – Alex defeated Taylor for the sixth time (for the first time since January 2024).

De Minaur will advance to the semi-finals of the ATP Finals if Carlos Alcaraz beats Lorenzo Musetti on the evening of November 13 (by any score). Taylor lost his chances of getting out of the group.

Alex is taking part in the Pidsumkovo for the second time and managed to win for the first time. For the first time since Roland Garros, De Minaur dealt with a player from the top 10 of the ATP ranking at the Tour level.
