Today Sport.ua mentions Strongman-Champion Vasyl Pavelyev, who was born in Donetsk region, moved to the Kyiv region and became a police officer in the capital. When a full-scale war began, Basil volunteered to the front and a 28-year-old, exactly three years ago, on July 20, 2022 in Kherson region.

Vasyl Paveliev was born on November 24, 1994 in Mirnograd (formerly Demetrius) of the Pokrovsky district in Donetsk region. In 2017, a guy who was the only child in the family, together with his parents, moved to the Kyiv region and joined the ranks of the patrol police of the city of Kiev that year.

Basil was very fond of sports, professionally engaged in sprinkling and was a champion of Ukraine with a Strongman among amateurs in the weight category up to 110 kg.

When the full -scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, platoon inspector # 1 of the Battalion No. 3 of the Regiment No. 2 of the Patrol Police Department in Kyiv began in the city of Kyiv, the senior police lieutenant Vasyl Paveliev went to defend Ukraine volunteer.

The life of the warrior was cut short on July 20, 2022 in the village of Lozovo, Beryslav district in Kherson region as a result of hostile shelling.
