Ukraine U-19 is included in the 1st basket for the draw of the elite round of Euro-2026

On December 10, the draw for the elite qualification round will take place Euro-2026 among young men under 19 years of age, in which the U-19 national team of Ukraine will also take part (football players not older than 2007). The ceremony starts at 12:30 Kyiv time.

Dmytro Mykhaylenko’s wards took first place in their group of the qualifying round. Before the drawing of the elite round of selection, the blue-yellow team reached the first basket.

In the elite round, the 27 teams that advanced from the qualifying round will join top seed Spain, who enter the fray at this stage. Matches in seven groups will take place on March 23-31, 2026. The winners of the Elite Round groups will join hosts Wales in the final stage, which runs from 28 June to 11 July.

The winners of the groups of the qualifying round cannot meet the teams that took the second place in the same groups. Thus, Ukraine will not play Slovakia.

Each group will have one team from each seeding basket. The hosts of the mini-tournaments to be held in the spring will be determined separately. The draw for the final tournament is scheduled for April 16, 2026.
