The national football team of Ukraine, which is preparing to participate in the European Championship, lost in a friendly match in Warsaw to the Polish team, which will also take part in Euro-2024.

Already in the first half hour of the game, Serhii Rebrov’s team conceded three times – Sebastian Valyukevich scored in the 11th minute, Piotr Zelinskiy in the 16th minute, and Taras Romanchuk in the 30th minute.

By the end of the first half, the Ukrainians managed to win back one goal – Artem Dovbyk scored in the 41st minute.

The score 3:1 in favor of the hosts remained unchanged even after the second half.

This is already the second control game of the “blue-yellows” at the stage of preparation for Euro-2024. On June 3, the Ukrainians drew 0:0 with the German national team.

The last friendly match scheduled for this month will be played by the Ukrainian team on June 11 against the Moldovan team.

At the European Championship, the Ukrainians will start on June 17 with a match against the Romanian team, on June 21 they will play the Slovaks, and on June 26 – against the Belgians.

In the head-to-head match of the play-off final, the “blue-yellow” won a victory over Iceland – 2:1.
