– I want to support Ruslan Rotan in this situation. After all, I myself was a coach recently and I understand that even such a calm and well-mannered person like him cannot calmly watch your team being mocked.
Imagine: you prepare for the game for a long time, train the team, develop tactics, work with the players, and then go out on the field – and one person breaks all this with his inappropriate behavior.
This is an indicator that Ukraine has serious problems with the level of arbitrators and vital reforms. With this level of refereeing, our football is doomed. UAF needs to think seriously if they really care about the development of football in Ukraine.
The reason for everything is one – Denys Reznikov. 13 yellow cards and 2 suspensions. How else to explain it? Obviously, the teams had no animosity towards each other before the match, but the referee ignited everyone’s rage with his unfair and incompetent decisions. His inconsistency and inadequate sanctions provoked clashes and excessive emotions.
Referee Reznikov started his “work” in the 11th minute: he removed our player. Then, for a similar violation, he did not even give a yellow card to the opponent. Of course, the players see this and feel that it is at least unfair. Or that there is something unclean here.
Then Hutsulyak is kicked in the neck – and again the referee forgives the opponent. Reznikov provoked everyone around him. Now it is necessary to understand why he did so, so that there are no more such referees and such decisions in our football.
