Legendary football player of Dynamo Kyiv Oleksandr Zavarov became a coach-consultant of FC Vilkhivtsi, which plays in the Second League of Ukraine.
There is no official information regarding the terms of the agreement and the financial aspects of Zavarov’s personal contract with the Transcarpathian club.
In his coaching career, he worked in the Ukrainian national team as an assistant to Mykhailo Fomenko from 2013 to 2016. Zavarov was also the acting head coach of the national team, at the head of which he played one match – on November 14, 2012, the “blue and yellow” defeated Bulgaria in a friendly game.
In addition, Zavarov headed the Kyiv Arsenal from 2005 to 2010. Oleksandr Anatoliyovych’s last place of work was Dynamo Kyiv, where he worked as a scout until 2023.
