Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk in an exclusive comment for Sport.ua told which tournaments of this season she considers to be the best.
“I had a very difficult season. There were many injuries. For some tournaments, I didn’t even know if I would go out to play. But together with the team I managed to get on the court and play well.
Tournaments in Madrid and Rome were a big personal breakthrough for me. The US Open was also good for me. In Montreal, I badly injured my hand and I didn’t know if I would be able to go on the court. However, it was an important and good tournament for me.
In my case, a lot of winning now happens off the court. And maybe next year you will learn about them too. I hope.”
