“We have an automatic recalculation of pensions of working pensioners every year from April 1,” said Deputy Minister of Social Policy Darya Marchak on the air of a telecommunication.
She noted that pension rights would be revised, which became the basis for a pension.
“If simply, a person has retired but continues to work, and in the next year from one indexation to another indexation or from April to April, it is worked out, it pays contributions from its wages, respectively, and additional retirement rights are accumulated in it,” Marchak explained.
Pension Indexation in Ukraine is the latest newsOn February 4, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced an increase in the pensions of Ukrainians since spring. Later it became known that since March 1, pension payments should increase by 10% of the current size.
On February 19, the Pension Fund approved the main indicator for the revision of pensions – the average salary for 2024. This figure was determined at the level of UAH 17.486.60, which is 22.2% more than in 2023.
