Information about the upcoming blockade appeared six months ago.
It is noted that the department has been working on this issue for more than 3 weeks, since this information from the organization of radical Polish farmers appeared almost a month ago.
During this time, Minister of Agricultural Policy Vitaly Koval held two meetings with his Polish colleague Czeslaw Sekierski and appealed to the European Commission on this issue.
“Polish farmers do not make any demands for Ukrainian goods, but use the border as a tool to influence their authorities,” the ministry said.

Vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tons will not be allowed to enter Poland, and one truck per hour will be allowed to leave. Restrictions do not apply to cars and buses.
