The ex-minister said that he was “engaged in the war” for a long time, and therefore did not go to fight as a volunteer.
Kuleba said that he will not flee Ukraine if he receives a summons / photo – Viktor Kovalchuk, UNIANThe former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, said that when he receives a summons to the army, he will not run away. He said this in an interview with Rendezvous presenter Yanina Sokolova.
“I live in Ukraine, and the summons will come – I will not flee abroad. I devoted two and a half years of my life to the war, starting from the first night, when no one at all believed that we would resist,” he said.
The ex-minister added that he did not go to fight as a volunteer precisely because he was “engaged in war” for a long time.
“I didn’t go as a volunteer because I was involved in the war for two and a half years, but I won’t run away to avoid mobilization when that time comes either,” Kuleba assured.
Dmytro Kuleba: other statementsAs UNIAN previously reported, Kuleba predicted what would happen to Ukraine if there was no peace agreement. According to him, in this case, the war will continue for many more years, and the front line will gradually move in the direction of Ukraine.
“If an agreement is not reached now on an agreement that will not please everyone, then there will be many years of war. It will be as it is, and even worse. Because the Russians will not stop, they have the resources, and we will not stop, because we have the resources. But the front line will move and move and move every year,” he said.
The ex-minister also stated that due to the lack of people, Ukraine may have to open its borders to migrants from Asia. “Bangladesh, Nepal, India, the Philippines, Vietnam will be happy to come. Difficult times are ahead. But I am calm because I see that there are enough people in the country who need it,” he said.
