Dear Ukrainians, Ukrainian women!
Today in Kharkiv, the demolition of rubble at the site of Russian bomb hits continues. In total, yesterday’s strikes claimed the lives of six people in Kharkiv. My condolences to family and friends.
Ninety-seven people were injured – all of them received the necessary assistance. And this is only in Kharkiv, and this is only one day of Russian strikes.
Since this morning, Russian terrorists have bombarded Sumy Oblast and Kharkiv Oblast again with guided aerial bombs. And this terror can be reliably stopped only in one way: by strikes on Russian military airfields, on their bases, on the logistics of Russian terror. And the most important thing is that it is possible. We talk about it with our partners every day. We convince. We give arguments.
These days, our Ukrainian delegation is working in Washington: the First Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Defense, representatives of the General Staff, the head of the Office. There were meetings at various levels, and among the first issues for us was long-range for our Defense Forces, the possibility of preventing all this terror that our Kharkiv and our other cities and many communities of Ukraine are forced to go through.
Clearing Ukrainian skies of Russian guided aerial bombs is a strong move to force Russia to seek an end to the war and a just peace. Ukrainian representatives gave all the necessary information, all the necessary details to our partners. And I appeal to the United States, Great Britain, France and Germany: we need opportunities to really and fully defend Ukraine and Ukrainians. We need both long-range permits and your long-range shells and missiles. Vital decisions cannot be postponed – precisely what can most correctly influence events.
We are also talking with our partners about air defense – about systems that are so needed especially now, before the school year, to provide more security to our Ukrainian children in schools, our cities, and our energy. We have agreements with you regarding air defense and missiles for air defense systems. It is important to implement everything as soon as possible. These days we are working even more actively for just such news – about additional air defense systems.
I want to thank everyone in the world who helps! And I thank all the friends of Ukraine who are not silent about this Russian terror, who are responding to all these strikes, spreading the truth about this war and calling on the world to be more decisive and therefore more effective in defending against Russia.
I spoke with the Central Committee today. Pokrovsky direction – the most assaults. It is also not easy on the Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Kupyansk directions. Almost two hundred battles every day on the entire front. And the most important thing now is to inflict maximum losses on the occupier and respond to all Russian strikes.
We also discussed with the Central Committee the details of our offensive operations – active actions in the Kursk region. We continue to replenish the exchange fund for Ukraine and push the war onto Russian territory. The resilience of each of our units, the accuracy of our soldiers, and the strong decisions of our partners are equally critical. I thank all our combat brigades!
Glory to Ukraine!
