Volodymyr Zelenskyy supports the transition to a corps system of management in the Armed Forces, if it will reduce bureaucracy

“This is for the military to decide. If the corps system they are proposing today will reduce the distance between the general and the soldier, if this bureaucracy will decrease, let them do so to reduce it,” the Head of State said.”, — write: www.president.gov.ua

If the corps management system in the Armed Forces will reduce bureaucracy, it should be implemented. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this during a meeting with media representatives within the framework of the Third International Conference on Food Security Grain from Ukraine.

“This is for the military to decide. If the corps system they are proposing today will reduce the distance between the general and the soldier, if this bureaucracy will decrease, let them do so to reduce it,” the Head of State said.

The president emphasized that the task now is to reduce bureaucracy in the army. In particular, this should be taken care of by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi.

“An officer must see a soldier. A general who has not been in the trenches is not a general for me personally. Despite the experience. With all due respect. Today, the most difficult situation is on the front line, in the trenches,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

According to the President, it is necessary not only to talk about problematic issues at the Headquarters or in the command headquarters, but also to communicate directly with the soldiers.

“That’s why Syrsky is always at the front, always traveling. We communicate with him daily, twice a day. He has a morning and evening report. But still this is not enough. Generals should be in the trenches. This is the war. The morale of the military is the most important,” the President emphasized.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also noted that Putin’s main task now is to oust the Ukrainian military from the Kursk region, and by January 20.

“It is very important for him to demonstrate that he is in control of the situation. He is not in control of the situation. The Kursk operation is not a toy. We have shown that Putin is incapable of fully defending his state. He threw everything at the occupation and destruction of Ukraine,” the Head of State said.

The Russian dictator also wants to show that he will allegedly achieve his stated goal of occupying the entire Donbas.

“This is the reason for our respective results. Difficulties in the East – yes. Insufficient number of armed forces there – yes. Understaffing is due to various reasons. In particular, delayed delivery – yes. But nevertheless, we are there. We defend our homeland. And Putin has never had such losses as today in the Kursk direction,” the President explained.
