The President’s visit to the USA was difficult, but very important and successful – Andriy Yermak

The presentation of the Victory Plan to President Joseph Biden, Congress and both candidates for President of the United States, as well as all meetings of Volodymyr Zelenskyi on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, were aimed at strengthening support for our country in achieving a just peace. The head of the Office of the Head of State, Andriy Yermak, told about this on the telethon “Edyny Novyny”.

“Meetings with partners were very meaningful. They demonstrate that support for Ukraine today is strong and continues. In addition, the President and the entire team continue to work with countries that are still neutral,” he noted.

The head of the Office of the Head of State emphasized that Ukraine prepared the Victory Plan precisely for the purpose of creating conditions for the practical implementation of the Peace Formula. Therefore, a very important part of the visit to the USA was the presentation of the Victory Plan in Washington, primarily to President Joseph Biden and his administration.

“Our partners have received this Plan with great attention and interest, they understand its necessity. Very soon, the next meeting of our leaders will take place to talk about the steps regarding this Plan. Teams have already started working on it,” said Andriy Yermak.

The victory plan was presented, in particular, in Congress, as the main legislative body of the USA, which directly votes on support packages for Ukraine. Volodymyr Zelenskyi also introduced him to both candidates for President of the USA – Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.

In addition, the Ukrainian Head of State spoke about the Victory Plan with the G7 leaders, because our country will work for its implementation with all allies.

“We returned to Ukraine with the feeling that the support of our country from our partners is at a very high level,” concluded Andriy Yermak.
