About a hundred guided aerial bombs are used by Russia against Ukraine every day – address of the President

In a week and a half, in October at Ramstein, we have to decide together with other leaders about joint steps and a common vision, how to increase the pressure on Russia for this war and for the sake of peace. A just peace.”, — write: www.president.gov.ua

Dear Ukrainians, Ukrainian women!

Fourteen people were injured in Zaporizhzhia today after a Russian strike. Debris clearance continues all day. It was possible to save two people from the rubble. Aerial bombs – on ordinary residential buildings, on ordinary city objects. Today, the Russians also struck Kharkiv Oblast, Donetsk Oblast, and Sumy Oblast with guided bombs. In particular, several residential buildings were damaged in Glukhiv. In Kharkiv Oblast, apartment buildings, energy infrastructure, and medical infrastructure were damaged. And this is daily Russian terror. About a hundred guided aerial bombs are used by Russia against Ukraine every day. And this is a constant reminder to all our partners who can help that we need more long-range for Ukraine, we need more air defense for Ukraine, we need more sanctions against Russia. Now – during this week, in our various negotiations in America – our position, our arguments have been heard in as much detail as possible. So, any questions are superfluous. And our teams and those of our partners have already started preparing for Ramstein. In a week and a half, in October at Ramstein, we have to decide together with other leaders about joint steps and a common vision, how to increase the pressure on Russia for this war and for the sake of peace. A just peace.

Today, I would like to especially mention our people, who have been saving lives all this time and helping everyone who is suffering from Russian strikes. I thank the entire team of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and especially Oleksiy Sukhorukov, Andriy Pavlenko, Ostap Tretyak, Ihor Koryagin, Dmytro Borodatom – these are the employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia region, one of the most difficult directions. Also from our Dnipro region: Volodymyr Zhushman, Vadym Derkach, Stanislav Lichmanenko, Ivan Podolyak, Ivan Khudoliy – the guys work in the State Emergency Service. And our Sumyshchyna. Ivan Sakhno, Andriy Nagornyi, Yehor Synytsyn, Danylo Sunyov and Oleksandr Protsik have especially shown themselves these weeks – thank you and all your colleagues from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Sumy region.

And one more thing. I would like to mention the employees of the National Police of Ukraine working in the Dnipro region, who rescued people after the Russian attack on the police department in Kryvyi Rih. This is police captain Kateryna Túpa, this is lieutenant colonel Mykola Garmash, this is police colonel Inna Vlasova – thank you! Thank you to everyone who protects our people and does everything to ensure that Ukraine passes this difficult time, perseveres and achieves its victory – its peace.

Glory to Ukraine!
