– I believe that this quality is in the final stage. Lazio had three opportunities in the 1st half – they implemented them all and showed how to finish the attack.
– How much after our championship, when you come to such matches as against Lazio, do you feel the difference between the UPL and the European Cups?
– Well, that’s understandable [смеется]that there is a difference between the Ukrainian championship and European cups. “Lazio” is one of the best teams in Italy, very high-quality players play here, and, of course, you can feel the level. I don’t know what to say, I feel it.
– Yarmolenko had moments, Brazhko made excellent shots twice, but it seems that some luck is lacking at the last moment. How do you see it on the football field?
– The goalkeeper of “Lazio” showed a very cool game, he made very good saves after the penalty, after Yarmola’s shot. We finished well, but the goalkeeper was at his best.
– You certainly understood the Lazio game. Did they surprise you with anything?
– What they analyzed, what the coaching staff showed us – they showed everything on the field. It was not a surprise for us, – said Shaparenko.
