It wasn’t until the first half that Rob Edwards’ side surprised, with Bellegarde equalizing just before the break after Bruno Fernandes had rather amusingly opened the scoring in the 25th minute, taking advantage of a toothless Wolves defence.
After the break, Manchester United finally took control: Mbemo put the visitors ahead, then Fernandes assisted Mount in the 63rd minute and scored a double from the penalty spot in the 82nd to seal the rout.
The result sees United move up to sixth in the table, while Wolverhampton remain bottom without a win this season.
