Bayern have reacted to reports that the Munich club, along with Borussia Dortmund, have included Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani in their list of potential transfer targets for the summer.

Bayern’s sporting director Christoph Freund praised the young forward’s abilities.

“He’s a good player, scores a lot of goals, a smart lad who’s developing really well. He’s had a couple of loan spells and he’s showing really, really good progress.

I think he is an interesting young footballer who is being talked about a lot now. There are quite a few guys who are developing well. But, as I said, we’re very happy with what we have and the way things are set up,” Freund told Sky Sport DE.

As noted journalist Florian Plettenberg, despite the activity of the clubs, Asllani’s fate has not yet been determined. The only thing that is known for sure is that the 23-year-old forward will change clubs in the summer, taking advantage of the exit clause.

This season, Fisnik Asllani played 12 matches, scored 6 goals and provided 3 assists.
