The Canadian defender of Bayern Munich and the captain of his national team, Alphonso Davis, had an unpleasant experience with the Munich police the day before.

The 24-year-old performer was stopped by law enforcement officers on Thursday morning and asked to undergo a test for alcohol content in the body.

Davis ended up testing positive, but was not arrested and a friend gave him a ride home.

Local media reported that the test result was 0.6 grams of alcohol per liter. The legal limit in Germany is 0.5 grams, and 0.8 grams is already a criminal offense.

The Canadian had his driving license revoked for a month, as well as a fine and two penalty points added to his driver’s profile.

Despite this, the player has been training with the main group and will be available for coach Vincent Kompany’s selection in Der Klassiker against Borussia Dortmund on November 30 at 19:30.
