The hosts hit the visitors’ goal three times near the end of the first half. Morata managed to open the scoring, while Hernandez and Pulisic scored the next two goals. For the latter, this goal was the fourth in the current season of the Italian championship and the fifth in five consecutive previous matches between the Rossoneri and the US national team.
In the second half of the meeting, the teams were not pleased with the performance, and the defender of Paulo Fonseca’s team, Davide Bartezaghi, received a red card after only five minutes of being on the field. The final whistle sealed Milan’s third consecutive Serie A victory.
