The musicians spent several days at the front with the soldiers of the 30th OMBr and wrote a track / collage UNIAN, screenshotsUkrainian rock musician, composer and producer Sasha Chemerov and rapper Gonya (real name – Ihor Gutnyk) spent several days at the front with the soldiers of the famous 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade (OMBr) named after Prince Konstantin Ostrozky, after which they wrote a combat song called “God’s Mercy”.

The track was created as part of the cultural military musical project “Front studio”, each episode of which is a portrait of a separate brigade: its people, stories and culture. The composition was presented in the finale of the first episode of the second season of the project.

The musicians lived for several days next to the soldiers of the 30th OMBr, they watched, listened, learned, flew drones and trained together. All in order to create the song “God’s Mercy”, inspired by the stories of the people behind this slogan of the 30th OMBr.

“It’s not for nothing that the seal of Konstantin Ostrozky has the inscription Dei gratia – “God’s grace” (translated from Latin – UNIAN), because I am a million percent sure that every serviceman from the 30th brigade, all relatives and friends are under the protection of God’s blessing,” military chaplain Oleksandr Lyushenko noted during a meeting with the musicians.

The musicians spent several days at the front with the soldiers of the 30th OMBr and wrote a track / collage UNIAN, screenshotsThe commander of the brigade, Colonel Dmytro Dovbush, speaking about the main needs of the unit, emphasized that people are always more important than modern technologies: “Without people, we will not be able to use these technologies… There are many moments when there are weapons and means, but there are no people.”

We will remind, as UNIAN previously wrote, “Front Studio” is a project of the Cultural Forces. As part of it, artists visit various combat brigades of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and write a track that should reflect the people, stories and culture of the brigade. In one of the previous episodes of the Hero of Ukraine project, military surgeon Colonel Eduard “Maestro” Khoroshun sang a song for his son.
