As it turned out, the artist created the Ukrainian-language version during his visit to Kyiv together with Ukrainian punk musicians. The band Dropkick Murphys told about this on Instagram, dedicating the song to Ukrainian veterans:
“On Veterans Day, we honor American veterans, as well as soldiers on the front lines in another country, Ukraine, who continue to fight and continue to live! In May 2025, Ken Casey was part of a team that delivered humanitarian aid to Ukraine. While in Kyiv, he joined his friends from the Ukrainian punk band O’Hamsters. Together they recorded a special version of Dropkick Murphys Who’ll Stand With Us.”
According to the members of Dropkick Murphys, the song Who’ll Stand With Us gained a deeper meaning when it was sung in Ukrainian.

Ken Casey not only sang his song entirely in Ukrainian, but also included footage of Ukrainian military personnel in the clip. The new work of Dropkick Murphys has already spread around the network, receiving many positive reviews.
