President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a working meeting with the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR MOD) Kyryll Budanov. During the meeting, key aspects of the security and political situation around Ukraine were discussed, as well as priorities for the further negotiation process were determined.

“Meeting with the head of the State Government of Ukraine Kyryll Budanov. Kyrylo reported on the security situation, on the political situation around Ukraine and on the currently available prospects. We identified some points that are important in the process of negotiations,” Zelenskyi said.
According to the president, the discussion was about current threats to Ukraine, the state of the Ukrainian defense forces and preparations for strategic negotiations with international partners. Particular attention was paid to the definition of key priorities and accents, which are of crucial importance for ensuring the security of the state and stability in the region.
This meeting underscores the importance of close coordination between government intelligence, the defense sector and the presidential administration, especially in the context of the active phase of the war and diplomatic efforts to maintain international security and political stability in Ukraine.
It will be recalled that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, signed a number of documents defining Ukraine’s updated position in key negotiations with the Russian Federation and international partners to achieve a “just and sustainable peace.”
