About 4 million drones are manufactured annually in the country, which significantly exceeds the figure in the USA, where this volume is about 100,000.
This rapid growth in production is taking place against the background of Russian aggression and increased demand for drones from other countries.
Several Ukrainian companies have already entered the European market, in particular Skyeton has opened a site in Slovakia, and FlyWell is preparing joint production with the Finnish company Summa Defense. This, in turn, improves the sustainability of logistics chains and access to Western financing.
Experts note that Ukrainian drones are of great interest due to their low cost and effectiveness in real combat conditions.
The authorities of Ukraine have already announced their intention to develop arms exports by creating representative offices in Berlin and Copenhagen to promote their products on the international market, which should ensure a stable financial flow for the further development of the defense industry.
