The SBU and the National Police found and detained 5 mercenaries of Russian special services, who committed serial arson in Kiev, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions.

“The Security Service and the National Police have exposed new attempts by the Russian Federation to loosen the internal situation in the capital and the frontier regions of Ukraine. According to the results of complex measures, 5 associates of Russian special services were detained, which made serial arson in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions, ”the message reads.
Thus, a 14-year-old teenager was detained in Kryvyi Rih, who tried to burn a local synagogue at the request of Russian special services.
To commit the crime, he prepared flammable remedies in the form of two “Molotov cocktails”. Then, according to the instructions of the invaders, the young man waited the darkness, arrived in the synagogue and set fire to her front door, hoping for the spread of the flame, the SBU reported.
According to the case file, the minor got into the field of view of the invaders when he was looking for “light money” in telegrams. However, he did not receive the promised funds from Russia. Instead, they are suspected of a crime.
Also in Dnipropetrovsk two deserters were detained, who in exchange for the promises of fast “earnings” agreed to destroy the service cars of the Armed Forces. After the fire of the military pickup, the defendants were tasked with making a homemade explosive device for a terrorist attack. However, the SBU staff disrupted the enemy’s intentions and detained the malefactors immediately after the first arson.
The 22-year-old FSB agent was detained in Kharkiv, who fuel relay and battery cabinets on the instructions of Russian special services. In this way, the enemy tried to disrupt energy equipment, which provides uninterrupted movement of trains, including military echelons.
In Kiev, a minor associate of the invaders was detained. He was a 16-year-old student of one of the vocational schools located in Vinnytsia region. At the instructions of the Russian special services, he arrived in the capital of Ukraine to make the SUVs of defense forces. Law enforcement officers detained the young man when he tried to burn the Multivan service operator of the National Guard of Ukraine.
According to all exposed facts, the defendants were informed of suspicion in accordance with the crimes committed under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: Part 2 of Art. 113 (diversion committed in martial law); Part 1 of Art. 114-1 (obstruction of the legitimate activity of the Armed Forces and other military formations in a special period); Part 2 of Art. 194 (intentional damage to another’s property by arson).
The attackers are threatened with different prison terms, including life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Also, the SBU and the National Police detained 4 more FSB associates, which were arson at the Russian Federation in the Kiev and Volyn regions. The priority goals of the enemy were the administrative buildings of the state institutions and the dwelling of families of the Ukrainian military.
Seven people recently received a report of suspected diversions after arson of relay cabinets in different regions of Ukraine, in particular in Nikolaev, Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions.
