Journalist Nikolov drew attention to the position of the father of the deceased, Serhii Kuzmin, who takes care of land and construction in Kharkiv, and until 2019 headed the State Architectural and Building Inspection. Kuzmin Sr. evacuated his son from Ukraine at the beginning of the invasion.
Nikolov assumed that “the boy could hardly have worked on a crypto-wallet at his age” and asked whether the tragedy was not related to the activities of the father, who, according to the journalist, belongs to Igor Abramovich’s group.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov refused to comment on the situation, calling it “Kuzmin’s personal story” and “a human tragedy.”
According to Kronen Zeitung, the 21-year-old Ukrainian arrived in Austria “some time ago” and received temporary protection. The police are interrogating relatives and friends of the deceased.
Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) police have informed Russian law enforcement agencies that they have found the bodies of St. Petersburg-based crypto investor Roman Novak and his wife Anna. They were buried in the desert in sacks of lime.
Ukrainian law enforcement officers have confirmed that a well-known blogger and crypto-investor, 32-year-old Kostyantyn Ganich, known under the pseudonym Kudo, really committed suicide on October 11.
The State Prosecutor’s Office of Estonia forced a crypto-investor, who in 2022 donated only 54.60 euros to the Russian army, to pay an amount 30 times larger — 1,638 euros — to a Ukrainian charity.
