The National Bank of Ukraine increased the dollar rate on November 12 compared to November 11 by 6 kopecks – to 42.0139. The euro exchange rate, in turn, increased by 7 kopecks and was set at the level of 48.6101 hryvnias. At the same time, the dollar became cheaper by 4 kopecks at exchange offices.
The euro, in turn, strengthened – the rate of the single European currency increased by 2 kopecks, NBU data show.
As of the morning of November 12, the average selling rate of the dollar decreased by 4 kopecks compared to November 11 and is 42.21 hryvnias, the euro rate increased by 2 kopecks to 49.00 hryvnias.
In exchange offices, the dollar is bought at an average price of 41.68 hryvnias (-0.03), the euro at 48.39 hryvnias (+0.02).
Before the interbank closing on November 11, the dollar exchange rate was at the level of UAH 41.90-41.93/dollar (buying and selling) – compared to the closing on November 10, the decrease is 16 kopecks.
According to the European Central Bank (ECB), during the period from January 2 to November 11, 2025, the euro showed an increase against the US dollar. The single European currency rose in price by 12 cents. On November 11, the ECB set the euro rate at $1.15, while on January 2, 1 euro cost $1.03.
In October 2025, the population of Ukraine bought foreign currency more than it sold, amounting to $0.75 billion in dollar equivalent.
International reserves of Ukraine also increased to $49.52 billion in October.
