There are people in Ukraine who doubt digital progress and fear that they can be easily identified.
However, the Action app does not create new records or track users’ whereabouts, but only pulls data from existing government registries for convenience.
Valeriya Koval, deputy minister of digital transformation, confirmed that every citizen is already entered in various registers, and “Diya” only pulls up this information to simplify interaction with the state.
In fact, the app has no geolocation tracking features. The fears of conscripts that territorial recruitment centers (TCC) may come through “Diya” are false.
These myths are actively spreading, but they are being countered, the Ministry of Statistics emphasized. At the same time, work is being done with such categories of people, although it is difficult.
The Digital Ministry is also engaged in improving digital literacy through the special portal “Diya. Education”, where you can take series and trainings to develop relevant skills. No one is forced to use digital services, because there are always alternatives.
The deputy minister emphasized that some services are already available exclusively online: these are national cashback, notification in “Dia”, submission of statements to the international register of losses, as well as payments for veteran sports. Over time, the list of such services will expand.
We will remind you what the “Action” application is and how the “state in a smartphone” works.
Diya also marked Kostyantynivka as Russian.
