The Government of Ukraine has adopted a mechanism for the payment of 1,000 hryvnias of “winter aid”, for which all citizens will be able to apply. You can apply from this Saturday, November 15, until December 24, 2025.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yuliya Svyridenko, announced this on Telegram.
The goal of “winter support” is to reach the widest possible range of people, help pay utility bills and cover basic needs on the eve of winter. Assistance can be issued both for yourself and for the child.
Funds can be received and spent in two main ways:
- After processing the application, the funds will be credited to the card “National Cashback”.
- They can be spent on utilities, medicine, products of Ukrainian production, postal services, books, charity and donated to the Defense Forces.
- The funds will go to a special account.
- The money can be spent on Ukrainian-made goods at Ukrposhta branches, as well as on utility bills and donations.
The received “winter thousand” can be spent up to June 30, 2026.
