According to the investigation, the attacker prepared a series of arson on key energy objects of the region to deactivate local military units and medical institutions.
The SBU staff were able to detain the defendant “on the hot” when he conducted an exploration near the electrical substation that feeds the regional hospital and several units of the defense forces. In the future, the attacker planned to set fire to this energy object.
The Russian agent was a 30-year-old local unemployed who was looking for “fast earnings” in telegrams.
The man was recruited remotely, after which the enemy associate explored the locations of the main energy generating facilities and collected data on their technical condition and protection.

The attacker is now in custody, and he is threatened with life imprisonment.
