The government adopted a resolution launching the “3000 km through Ukraine” program. In December, the initiative will work in test mode on trains to all front-line regions, and tickets can be issued from December 3, JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” reports.

The company expects that the program will help families visit loved ones near the front line or residents of frontline communities to move to other regions for the winter.

Users will be able to take advantage of 3,000 km of journeys in off-peak periods, when there are free seats, in particular in reserved carriages, compartments, regional trains and 2nd class Intercity.

To participate in the program, you need to install or update the Ukrzaliznytsia application. It will be possible to issue tickets from December 3 at 10:00 a.m., and go on a trip from December 5. A maximum of one passenger can get up to four trips for a total of 3,000 km.

As a reminder, trains will run hourly between Kyiv and Lviv – Ukrzaliznytsia.

Also, “Ukrzaliznytsia” is launching Kyiv-Bucharest train stops in Moldova.
