The Russian authorities have launched an online course for teachers, the purpose of which is to develop the skills of children deported from Ukraine “traditional Russian identity”.
The Russian publication Verstka writes about it.
According to the publication, the course consists of nine thematic blocks, more than five hours of which are devoted to the topic “neo-Nazism” in Ukraine. Teachers will be taught to detect “oppositional children” and those who, in their opinion, could be “recruited” by foreign special services.

The course description states that teachers should inculcate in children the willingness to live in the conditions “hybrid war of the West against Russia”. It is suggested to do it through “soft influence”, so that children begin to perceive the imposed point of view as their own.
“A separate block of the course is devoted to work with children of Ukrainian refugees and schoolchildren in the “historical territories of Russia“ (in the occupied territories of Ukraine — ed.). Lecturer Oleksiy Lavrentiev, chairman of the First Movement in the Kherson region, offers not only to provide these children with psychological help, but also to “reshape their identity by returning traditional Russian values to them.”
The publication reports that the course program was developed by the Ministry of Education of Russia. Methodical materials for teachers talk about what children from Ukraine should acquire “socially significant skills” characteristic of Russian schoolchildren. The reason for their resettlement from Ukraine is proposed to be explained “complication of the geopolitical situation”. During education, children should be formed “Russian identity”.
