Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiga commented on Russia’s new massive attack on Ukraine, noting that the Kremlin used Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s visit to Moscow to implement its aggressive strategy.

Sybiga said that Ukraine had a difficult night as Russia fired dozens of cruise and ballistic missiles and more than 500 drones at residential buildings, power grids and critical infrastructure.
“While everyone is discussing the points of the peace plans, Russia continues to implement its “military plan”, which consists of two points: kill and destroy,” he wrote.
The minister emphasized that Kremlin ruler Vladimir Putin “once again used Viktor Orban as an accomplice to his terror.” Sybiga recalled that in the summer of 2024, after Orban’s visit to Moscow, Russia struck the Ukrainian Children’s Hospital “Okhmatdyt”.
“This time, a massive Russian attack on the Ukrainian capital followed immediately after Orban’s visit and empty words about “peace”. Putin simply uses such politicians as actors in his bloody show,” he emphasized.
Sibiga added that Putin wants to continue the war at any cost, but the international community has the means to make this price unbearable.
“We call for additional support for Ukraine’s defense and stability, additional tough sanctions against Russia, and quick adoption of a decision that will allow full use of frozen Russian assets. Strength, unity and pressure on Moscow, as before, are of crucial importance for promoting peace efforts and forcing Russia to end the war,” the minister summed up.
On the night of November 29, Russian terrorists attacked Kyiv with drones, ballistic and cruise missiles. As a result of the attack, casualties, damage to buildings and infrastructure facilities, as well as power outages were recorded.
During the night and morning of November 29, the Russian army of occupation attacked Ukraine. The Russians launched about 36 missiles and almost 600 drones.
