The online platform “Veteran PRO” has been launched in Ukraine, which combines all the main state services for veterans and their family members.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliya Svyridenko announced this in her Telegram post.
According to her, the goal of the project is to make veteran policy not about benefits, but about dignity, development and new opportunities. “Military experience should become an advantage in work, business and life. “Veteran PRO” was created for this purpose,” she said.
Svyridenko said that together with the Minister of Veterans Affairs Natalya Kalmykova, she introduced a platform where the user first chooses his status, after which the system automatically forms a personal route — from obtaining documents to training, employment, treatment or opening one’s own business.
From now on, veterans do not need to search for information about programs, benefits or assistance on different resources – all services are collected on one platform.
The Prime Minister also emphasized that during regional trips, the government team constantly meets with veterans to hear their needs and receive feedback on the work of state services.
“Veterans are a community that does not wait and does not ask, but acts, develops its own business and community. The task of the government is to be there not with formal certificates, but with real support,” Svyridenko emphasized.
She added that the government is finalizing the preparation of the code of laws on defenders of Ukraine, which they plan to submit to the parliament in two weeks. According to the Prime Minister, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk confirmed his readiness to support relevant initiatives.
A boxing evening was held in the Kyiv Palace of Sports, during which war veterans Pavlo Kushnirov (callsign Staff) and Mykhailo Drobotenko (callsign Sever) entered the ring.
The head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, proposed to Volodymyr Zelensky the reform of the department — a significant part of the staff should be made up of military personnel with combat experience.
