At the same time, the statement of American leader Joseph Biden regarding further aid to Ukraine, which will be strengthened before the end of his presidential term, appeared. In particular, he is convening another meeting in Germany in the Rammstein format at the level of the heads of state of our allies.

Attack on Ukraine
Almost all night on September 26, an air alert lasted in Ukraine. At night, Russia launched six missiles of various types and 78 kamikaze drones on our territory. Air defense forces destroyed most of the enemy targets. The enemy attacked the Sumy region with two missiles of an unknown type from the Belgorod region (Russian Federation), Odesa region – with four Kh-59/69 guided air missiles from the Black Sea.
That night, the enemy carried out another massive attack on the Ukrainian energy industry, using drones and missiles for this purpose. In particular, three electricity transmission facilities were attacked, one of them in the Mykolayiv region.
Prime Minister of Ukraine
On the night of September 26, the Russians carried out a drone attack on several energy facilities in several regions of Ukraine. As a result, household and industrial consumers were cut off. Currently, most of them have already healed. Work to eliminate the consequences of shelling continues. During the Russian attack on the night of September 26, an attack drone was recorded flying near the site of the Rivne NPP. The enemy once again attacked a critical infrastructure facility in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. There was a fire here.
One of the drones was able to reach Pechersk district of the capital. Debris fell on the territory of a kindergarten, and a gas pipe in a residential building was depressurized. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, four apartment buildings and 20 cars were damaged. Two people were injured: a man was injured, his child had an acute reaction to stress.
Russian troops launched an airstrike on Zaporozhye. The number of injured as a result of a night enemy airstrike on Zaporizhzhia increased to 10. Among the injured are six women, three men and a child. 18 residents of the city were saved.
The Russians shelled the Kherson region twice. As a result of the air strike, two people were injured, whom the rescuers unblocked from under the rubble.
In general, during the night, the enemy attacked Kyiv Oblast, Donetsk Oblast, Kharkiv Oblast, Sumy Oblast, and Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. Fortunately, there were no casualties in these regions.
Before noon, an air alert was declared twice throughout the country due to the takeoff of Russian fighter jets and the launch of aeroballistic missiles “Kinzhals”. It is not officially reported where the Russian missiles hit. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine only reported that three launches of Kh-47 M2 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles were recorded from the airspace of the Russian Federation in the direction of Starokostyantynov, Khmelnytskyi Region. Information about the places of arrivals or damage is not public. The media reports that the Ukrainian F-16 base may be located in this area.
As a result of the repeated air attack on Kyiv region, one person was injured, there is destruction in three districts of the region, where five private houses were damaged. They have broken windows and damaged facades. Also, windows in several apartments were damaged in three high-rise buildings.
At noon in Sumy Oblast, Russian invaders attacked a railway station with FPV drones. Around 1:00 p.m., using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, the occupiers fired FPV drones at the railway station in the town of Druzhba, Shostky district. Three employees of the railway station were injured.
As has been happening lately, during a massive airstrike on the night of September 26, four Shaheds flew into Belarus. Three went astray in Ukraine, and one came directly from Russia. The local troops had to raise two fighters from the “Baranovichi” airfield.
US position
It seems that before the arrival of the Ukrainian delegation to the USA, the White House prepared its plan for further actions until the end of Joe Biden’s presidential term. According to his statement on the White House website, the following will be held:
- The US Department of Defense announced the allocation of $2.4 billion in security assistance under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, which will provide Ukraine with additional air defenses, unmanned aerial systems and air-to-ground munitions, as well as strengthen Ukraine’s defense industrial base and will support its service and support requirements.
- Ukraine will receive long-range Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW) ammunition.
- The Pentagon will repair and provide additional Patriot missiles to Ukraine.
- To develop the potential of the Ukrainian Air Force, the US Department of Defense will expand the training of Ukrainian F-16 pilots, including by supporting the training of 18 more pilots next year.
- The Department of Justice, the Department of the Treasury, and the US Secret Service have taken steps to disrupt the global cryptocurrency network in coordination with international partners.
- Next month, a meeting at the level of the leaders of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine has been convened in Germany to coordinate the efforts of more than 50 countries that support Ukraine in its defense against Russian aggression.
Today I am announcing increased security assistance to Ukraine and a series of additional actions to help Ukraine win this war. I have directed the Department of Defense to release all remaining security support funds that have been allocated to Ukraine through the end of my term in office.

At the same time, according to the NBC News channel, the Pentagon recommended that the United States transfer white phosphorus munitions to Ukraine to create light and smoke. However, the White House has rejected the idea several times due to concerns about harming civilians.
So far, the USA has allocated a new package of military aid to Ukraine in the amount of 375 million dollars. This package includes:
- air-to-ground ammunition;
- ammunition for highly mobile artillery rocket systems (HIMARS);
- 155-mm and 105-mm artillery ammunition;
- missiles with optical tracking and wire guidance (TOW);
- Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems;
- armored guard vehicles M1117;
- anti-mine vehicles with ambush protection (MRAP);
- light tactical vehicles;
- armored bridge systems;
- shooter and weapons;
- patrol boats;
- minesweeping equipment and ammunition;
- spare parts, support equipment, service, training and transportation.
Meanwhile, information has arrived from another part of the world about the strengthening of sanctions against the Russian economy. Great Britain has imposed sanctions against five vessels and two organizations associated with the transportation of Russian LNG, including the Arctic LNG 2 project. These measures are aimed at reducing the funding that supports Russia’s war against Ukraine.
Trump’s position
And while the progressive world is trying, albeit slowly, to help Ukraine preserve its independence, Donald Trump, the US presidential candidate from the Republican Party, said that our country had to surrender immediately.
