The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has simplified the process of submitting product quality complaints for military units. From now on, this opportunity is available through the DOT-Chain IT system, the press service of the Ministry of Defense reported.
This innovation will significantly reduce the time for preparing and processing complaints, and will also improve the level of food supply to the Armed Forces.
“Previously, the process was completely paper-based, which took a lot of time and resources. Currently, DOT-Chain automatically integrates information from the order, and the military units only add data about the defective product. This allows you to create an electronic document, reducing the time of working with complaints by 2-3 times,” explained Deputy Minister of Defense Dmytro Klimenkov.
In addition to convenience, the new system makes the process more transparent. It structures data and quickly analyzes information, helping to detect abuse by unscrupulous suppliers, which increases work efficiency.
Also, the Ministry of Defense announced that next year it will be possible to submit electronic complaints regarding the completeness and terms of delivery in DOT-Chain.
Recently, the Defense Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense concluded contracts for the supply of more than 11,000 electronic warfare (EW) devices with a total cost of more than UAH 6 billion from January 2024.
And the Department of Provision of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine (DSSZZI) concluded an agreement with “Vidi Avenue” LLC for the purchase of 35 new upgraded pickup trucks for the needs of the military for the total amount of UAH 55.31 million.
