On December 16, the Korosten interdistrict court of the Zhytomyr region will begin the hearing of the case regarding Zadyraka’s fraud, among other things, a decision may also be made to declare the ex-official on international wanted list.
The publication reminds that Zadyraka is accused in the case of theft of property – agricultural land of the Malyn community – with an estimated value of over UAH 600 million. According to the investigation, Zadyraka and his accomplices decided to take ownership of the land plots that were allocated to the local collective farm in the mid-1990s. For this, in 2019, they decided to “revive” the collective farm and gain control over it. In the criminal trial for the Zadyrac scheme, suspicions were announced under part 2, 3 of article 27, part 1 of article 190, part 4 of article 27, part 3 of article. 365-2 of the Criminal Code in proceedings No. 62023000000000193. He is suspected of organizing fraud on a particularly large scale, punishable by imprisonment for up to 12 years with confiscation of property, and of aiding and abetting the abuse of his position by officials. In the summer of 2023, the Zadyraks’ property was seized.
