The widespread use of drones has significantly expanded the so-called “kill zone” on the front, so ground-based robotic systems are becoming a key element of future warfare.

About this reported Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi on Facebook.

“No matter how difficult it may be, Ukraine cares about preserving the life and health of each of its soldiers. The evacuation of the wounded and the provision of medical aid are always in the focus of my attention,” Syrskyi said at the official meeting.

He noted that due to the widespread use of UAVs, the affected area is increasing, and the evacuation of the wounded is becoming more and more difficult. The enemy insidiously attacks stabilization points, violating international humanitarian law.

“Our medical units are going underground, and the wounded are being evacuated from the front line by ground robotic complexes,” Sirsky emphasized.

Representatives of combat brigades shared practical experience that should be implemented and scaled up.

Medics of the 151st OMBr equipped a modern and spacious underground stabilization station. The medical service of the 10th OGSHBr told about the peculiarities of evacuating the wounded under enemy drone strikes.

The commander of the company of ground robotic complexes of the Third Assault Brigade showed the effectiveness of the NRC, which have evacuated 147 soldiers since the beginning of the year.

“I am convinced that ground robotic complexes have a great future. We are developing this direction, introducing new models and using advanced approaches to evacuate the wounded under any conditions,” Sirskyi said.

During the meeting, successes and problems were discussed, solutions were sought for the shortage of evacuation armor and other necessary equipment.

The main direction of the medical service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for December is the development and scaling of robotic evacuations, the introduction of advanced technologies and new models for saving the lives of soldiers.

The enemy is actively using UAVs and artillery, which increases the risks for medical units at the front.

The Armed Forces are constantly adapting medical logistics, combining underground points and robotic complexes for safe and quick evacuation of the wounded. Such solutions have already proven their effectiveness in combat conditions and help save the lives of Ukrainian soldiers.
