On November 15, in most regions of Ukraine, restrictions on the consumption of electricity for the population and businesses will be in effect during the day.
Such steps are associated with serious destruction of the energy infrastructure after massive Russian attacks by missiles and drones on generation facilities and substations.
Ukrenergo notes that forced measures are needed to balance the energy system and prevent even more large-scale accidents.
According to the operator, the restrictions will last throughout the day — from 00:00 to 23:59, without “free” hours. Hourly outage schedules will be applied for household consumers, while the volume of restrictions will range from 1.5 to 3.5 shifts depending on the situation.
For industrial enterprises, there will be separate capacity limitation schedules, which are also calculated for the whole day.
In the energy sector, they warn that the specific time of the appearance of the light and its shutdown may change quickly. This will depend on the current state of the power system, the level of consumption and possible new damage to networks or stations.
We remind you that the sunny weather will make it possible to soften the blackout on the weekend.
Ukrenergo also explained when there will be an improvement in blackouts.
