The building on Stusa Street in Ternopil is to be dismantled due to significant destruction of load-bearing elements and a high risk of further collapse.
This was reported in the Ternopil Regional Military Administration.
The issue of phasing of dismantling and organization of work was considered at an extraordinary meeting of the regional commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergency situations at TOVA with the participation of representatives of OVA, the city council, the Security Service of Ukraine and other services.
“The main issue was the technical inspection of the house on the street. Vasyl Stus, 8. The building was significantly destroyed as a result of a direct hit by a missile fired by the Russian strategic aviation. Specialists presented complex materials that testify: the structures of the house are destroyed to such an extent that it cannot be restored. The destruction of the load-bearing elements and the high risk of further collapse became the basis for recommending its dismantling as an object unfit for operation,” the message reads.
Law enforcement agencies note that criminal proceedings regarding the missile strike are opened under articles on war crimes. During the investigation, fragments of the rocket were recovered, which confirm the type of weapon used and the intentional strike on the residential sector.
The regional military administration assures that all services have received clear tasks regarding the coordination of actions. After completion of dismantling, the city council must inform the regional commission about the implementation of all measures.
It will be recalled that the number of victims of the Russian missile attack on November 19 has increased in Ternopil. 12-year-old Adriana Unault died in the hospital.
