The promotion company Lift Promotions published a video showing how they met the holder of the WBC, WBO, WBA and IBF titles from Ukraine. Usyk greeted the organizers with the words “salam alaikum”, received a bouquet of flowers as a gift and tried a traditional treat.
On Friday, November 14, a grand evening of boxing will take place in Tashkent – one of the most interesting and most anticipated matches will be the confrontation between the two-time Olympic champion Bahodir Jalolov (16–0, 14 KOs) and the Nigerian champion Solomon Adebayo (14–1, 13 KOs).
The last time Usyk entered the ring was in July, when he knocked out British Daniel Dubois in the fifth round and took the IBF title from him. Next year, the boxer from Ukraine is expected to meet the mandatory contender Fabio Wordley.
