Representative of Ukraine Bohdan Sobol (18–1–1, 8 KOs) destroyed an opponent from Sweden in the second round – Oskar Ahlin (27–2, 21 KOs) tried to impose his boxing, but was forced to surrender.
The victory in this confrontation allowed the Ukrainian to win the WBC Baltic regional title. Sobol had 18 wins in the first 18 fights of his career, but in October of last year he suffered an unexpected knockout loss to the Argentine Lucas Bastida.
In October of this year, the Ukrainian met with the Georgian boxer Nik Bigvava – after six rounds, the judges recorded a draw. In this way, Sobol won the first victory in the last three matches and won an important title that will improve his position in the world rankings.
