An American woman met in the ring Mikaela Mayer (21–2, 5 KOs) and Canadian Mary Spencer (10–2, 6 KOs), who won three world titles – WBA, WBC, WBO.
Mayer was in complete control of the situation in the ring, delivered many precise and accented blows, moved perfectly on her feet. 40-year-old Spencer tried to respond in counterattacks, but was seriously inferior in speed.
The athlete from Canada lasted all ten rounds, but Mikaela won by a unanimous decision. The American conquered the third division and won three titles of the world champion.
