On November 23, Heidelberg (Germany) will host an evening of boxing – the European champion according to the EBU version will meet in the main fight Oleksandr Zahozhiy (19-0, 15 KOs, Ukraine) and a contender from Kosovo Labinot Jojai (19-0-1, 16 KOs).

On the eve of the meeting in the ring, the boxers held a traditional weighing ceremony, at which the Ukrainian boxer proved to be 20 kg heavier than his opponent.

Zahozhiy will defend the title of European champion for the first time, which he won in March 2024 – he knocked out the representative of Germany, Granit Shalu (16-1, 6 KOs).

Initially, Oleksandr was supposed to meet with the Swiss Arnold Djerje (38-3, 27 KOs), but he was injured and refused the match.
