The President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, said that the European Union remains a staunch supporter of Ukraine, commenting on the publication of the new US national security strategy.
“I see so many people trying to undermine Europe. Why? Because the EU is strong. And we are working on making it even stronger,” Koshta wrote on Kh.’s social network.
He emphasized that the EU took “bold steps” to build European defense and strengthen strategic autonomy and stood by Ukraine “from the very beginning of the war.”
Košta also noted that the EU has developed a network of global partners based on fair trade, shared prosperity and protection of the rules-based international order.
The President of the European Council expressed concern about the publication of the new American security strategy, describing it as a “threat of interference in the political life of Europe” and emphasized that the USA cannot determine the choice of European citizens regarding political parties.
