People’s deputy from the “European Solidarity” faction, Petro Poroshenko, announced this on December 2 at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. A minimum of 150 signatures is required to put an issue on the agenda of the parliament.
“We continue to collect signatures for restarting the government and creating a new coalition. And thank you to everyone, because we are approaching a hundred who have signed. Please, don’t stop,” he said.
The deputy emphasized that it is necessary to remove from the government all those involved in the “Yermak-Mindych” films, and threatened that next time he will start naming all the names. According to him, the “EU” faction is ready to participate in the formation of a coalition “not for the sake of positions, but for the sake of Ukraine.”
After Poroshenko’s speech, people’s deputies from the “EU” faction announced that they would block the rostrum until the demands were met. In response, the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk accused the faction of violating the regulations that prohibit blocking the tribune. At that time, people’s deputies from the “EU” faction chanted: “Government away!”.
Stefanchuk emphasized that there were many important bills on the agenda for today, but the work of the parliament was blocked.
“Unfortunately, I am being illegally influenced as a statesman, so I am forced to announce a break in the plenary session,” he said.
Since the meetings are not closed now, but only a break is announced, this means that today the parliament will no longer work. No bill has been considered, no decision has been made.
Coalition of National Stability: What is knownAs UNIAN reported, a number of deputies from the “Servant of the People” faction declared the need to immediately start negotiations between all pro-Ukrainian factions and groups in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the creation of a coalition of national stability.
Such a statement by representatives of the faction of the political party “Servant of the People” was published on Facebook by People’s Deputy of Ukraine Mykyta Poturaev in connection with the anti-corruption investigation by NABU and SAP.
The text stated that all parliamentary pro-Ukrainian forces should abandon narrow party and personal priorities that could stand in the way of such a union.
The statement noted that after the formation of the coalition of national stability, it is necessary to start negotiations between all factions and groups that will be part of it, regarding the formation of the government of national stability.
The head of the “Servant of the People” faction, David Arahamiya, said that the statement of individual deputies regarding the need to create a coalition of national stability and the appointment of a new government is not the position of the “Servant of the People” faction or party.
He added that on November 19, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed “compromised members of the government.” We are talking about former Minister of Justice Herman Galushchenko and former Minister of Energy Svitlana Grynchuk.
