According to the press service of the Kyiv club, Farewell to Volodymyr Fedorovych will take place on Wednesday, December 3 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the bowl of the “Dynamo” stadium named after V. Lobanovskyi, and from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. – on the central avenue of the Baikovo cemetery.
“We invite everyone who knew, respected, befriended and worked with him, who admired his talent on the football field, who shared his values and views, to pay their respects to the outstanding player from Dynamo and guide him on his last journey.
In the football circle, everyone will remember something about Volodymyr Fedorovych, and these bright memories will remain in our hearts forever,” the message reads.
The ex-player of the capital grand passed away due to a long illness. Volodymyr spent almost his entire career in the Blue and White team, and finished his career in SKA Kyiv.
With Dynamo Kyiv, the midfielder became the champion of the USSR seven times, won the USSR Cup twice, and in the international arena with the capital club he won the Cup Winners’ Cup and the UEFA Super Cup. For 371 matches at the club level in all tournaments, Volodymyr Muntyan scored 70 goals and 36 assists.
