“Business associations are advocating the preservation of the current model of taxation for small businesses. “It is necessary not to touch the simplification at all until the end of the war,” said the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Danylo Hetmantsev,” the message says.
This opinion was expressed by the chairman of the committee at the Forum “Restoration of Ukraine: quality institutions and economic security”.
“He also emphasized that the deputies will definitely not submit a draft law on the introduction of VAT for a larger number of simplified taxpayers – that will be done by the government,” writes FinClub.
“However, former People’s Deputy Oksana Prodan noted that the memorandum with the IMF does not provide for the liquidation of the simplified system. “It will not be destroyed, but a tax that did not exist before will be introduced,” she believes, the publication says.
