In the occupied territories of Luhansk and Donetsk regions, an increase in attacks by aggressive stray dogs on people has been recorded.
Information about it reported The National Resistance Center, noting that such incidents occur even during the day, posing a serious threat to the lives of residents.
Local medical facilities cannot provide adequate care because there are no animal capture systems and appropriate vaccines.
The situation is complicated by the inactivity of the occupation authorities, which do not respond to numerous complaints of citizens, ignoring their problems. In addition, Russian volunteers who bring dogs to the front contribute to the spread of the problem, because some of the animals end up in cities, where they become aggressive.
Since the demand for treatment and prevention of the roles of animals is not met, the inhabitants of the cities of Luhansk region and Donetsk region face constant danger. In the conditions of war, when social and humanitarian problems are intensifying in Ukraine, threats from stray dogs only add serious challenges for local residents.
