“I won’t say that there is tension, but everyone understands the responsibility of these matches. Everyone is positive, but they understand what matches await us ahead. Everyone is more focused on the match with France,” said Mykolenko at the press conference.
“We have no fear, but we have respect for France. There has never been an overestimation — this is a very good national team, they have top players. But they are the same footballers as we are. We will play on our strengths,” the defender said.
“You have to be focused for the whole 90+ minutes. Maybe you have the right to make a mistake, but you can lose the match because of it.”
